Dr Tom Graham

Training & Accreditation

I trained as a Counselling Psychologist at Roehampton University and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, Kings College London. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies.

Clinical Experience

After 10 years at South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, working at Southwark Talking Therapies and then with Professor David Veale’s team at the Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma, in 2023 I moved to join another national specialist NHS psychology service for anxiety disorders, OCD, and related problems, including misophonia.

Specialist Expertise

My work in specialist NHS services has led to clinical expertise in treating anxiety disorders and OCD, and I have helped many people struggling with anxiety, obsessive compulsive problems, and the effects of trauma. For many years I have also worked alongside Dr Jane Gregory in researching and treating misophonia, and I am among a small number of clinical experts in this area.

Teaching & Supervision

I have provided teaching and supervision to Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Doctoral, and Masters students, as well as delivering workshops and webinars to NHS teams and third sector organisations, such as OCD-UK and Age UK.
